Chase

from $150.00

Buzkashi chase in Tajikistan. Buzkashi, literally meaning goat bashing is a sport in many parts of Central Asia, where horse mounted men compete in moving a 65 kg corpse of a goat or calf across a field into a pre determined location while 100-200 other competitors trying to do the same. It is very brutal sport where fatalities are not uncommon. Competitors often whip each others hands and necks in order to force the release of the goat/sheep etc. These whips are made of old rubber alternator belts, and you can imagine the pain associated with it.
